This method applies to outsoles to test their resistance to continuous flexion. The equipment features a whole stainless steel clamps group, able to carry up to n°3 entire soles or n°9 samples.

Mechanical motion is guaranteed by a special engine reducer system while a digital cycle counter will provide automatic setting of test parameter.Before starting process, the operator shall provide a cut onto the sole upper side, given by a standardized steel punch.

The eventual dimensional enlarging of such provoked cut will be measured to verify flexion resistance.This machine is produced in accordance with:- EN ISO 20344: 8.4- DIN 53543 6.3_79- ASTM - UNISoles flexometer machinery for testing the life of sole and samples.



This equipment is used to asses the abrasion of elastometers subject to wear by abrasive action.
The abrasion machine basically consists of a laterally movable test piece holder and a rotable cylinder to which a specified abrasive cloth is fixed.
A defined load is applied between the specimen and a drum covered with a specified abrasive paper. The drum is rotated under the specimen at a fixed speed, while the sample traverses along the drum for a set distance. The specimen is removed and re-weighed, allowing the amount of soling material lost to abrasion to be established The abrasive resistance of the compound. The weight loss is converted to a volume loss, having first determined the density of the material.


This test is used to determine the deformation on our Sheld composite toe cap of safety shoe according to impact test.
The impact system that is attached to a solid and compact metal base incorporates a striker of suitable mass and design, adapted to fall free freely on vertical guides from a predetermined height to give the required impact energy. The operator selects the required impact energy and then the striker mechanism moves automatically to the pre-set height. A mechanism catch the striker after the first impact so that the test specimen is struck only once. Several striker heads and clamping devices can be interchanged according to the ISO’s standards.

Electric Resistance 

This test is used to determinate the electric resistance properties of the outsole, it’s the same conductive test that is used in footwear manufacturing. ( ISO 2878) 
Test consists of copper-covered conductive plate and a simulating shape shoe where we put stainless steel balls.  Through Electrodes of an insulation machine we conduct test with different voltages. 
With the results of this test we are able to verify if our outsoles are ESD, anti-static and insulated sole.


In order to perform density determination of any of our materials we use a professional kit designed to enable this operation. Our test offers three types of density determination for liquid and solid. 

Density measurement in liquids is performed by measuring the ascending pulse obtained using a given glass container and  is carried out through the weight and volume of a sample. The weighing device is be used to determine the density and so the weight.


The volume is calculated using the sample thrust inside a liquid, so the density of this particular liquid should be known.
